lyrics

I was flying over the house where we would lay in low winter light
when I thought about now and how much of it was mine. Vectors tangle across the desert, they are all mine. I still see you floating in the window; photons, neurons.

I was the one who put floor to feet. I was the one who chose to leave this place. So as you see me float away, I will become Disaspora, NV.

I was driving past the house where I met you when your mother died; where I held your hands apart and asked, “how much of what is inside?” Vectors tangle across the desert, they are all mine. I still see you floating in the window. Photons, neurons, all the things you leave behind.

I was the one who would float away. I was the one who chose to leave this place. So as the light hits the water, I will become rays of light, exploding to heaven.
