I was the one who put floor to feet. I was the one who chose to leave this place. So as you see me float away, I will become Disaspora, NV.

I was driving past the house where I met you when your mother died; where I held your hands apart and asked, “how much of what is inside?” Vectors tangle across the desert, they are all mine. I still see you floating in the window. Photons, neurons, all the things you leave behind.
